Across the American South and Appalachia, old places remember what was taken from them. Mountains, marshes, coastlines, mines, hollows, and inherited houses hold creatures that human history mislabeled as monsters.
These stories share a hidden natural order. Boundaries matter. Bargains leave physical marks. Repair is possible, but never free. A creature may be terrifying without being cruel, and a human institution may be monstrous without ever growing claws.
Each Galaxy can be read on its own. Together, they reveal a larger ecosystem of cryptid beings, damaged landscapes, inherited obligations, and the people stubborn enough to renegotiate the terms.
