Everyone knows better than to bargain with the Curse Maker. Emeline does it anyway.

Desperate to free her sister from a marriage bought with their father’s gambling debt, Emeline turns to Corvin, a man feared for granting the impossible at a price.

His offer is simple, he’ll free her sister. In return, Emeline will owe him a debt to be named later.

She accepts.
