About the author
Regina Bergen is an author, editor, and professional collector of far too many ideas at once. She writes across genres, from romantic comedies and poetry to darker, atmospheric fiction rooted in myth, folklore, and the complicated things people do to one another.
A Hudson Valley native, Regina has a particular weakness for morally complicated characters, sharp dialogue, old stories that deserve to be turned sideways, and women who have finally had enough.
When she isn’t writing, she’s usually editing someone else’s words, planning an author event that has somehow become much more elaborate than originally intended, drinking coffee, running very slowly on purpose, or convincing herself she absolutely does not need to start another book.
She is the author of multiple novels, novellas, poetry collections, and nonfiction works, including *Horseman Rising*, a dark reimagining inspired by the legends and landscape of Sleepy Hollow.

The Summer of Chasing Rainbows
Summer was supposed to last forever.
For Gina, childhood is measured in bike rides, backyard adventures, neighborhood pools, prank calls, scraped knees, fireflies, and the friends who could be summoned simply by shouting their names across the yard.
Then Courtney arrives for her annual summer visit, and Anye—visiting from Ireland—joins them. Suddenly, the days stretch wide open before the three girls, filled with ridiculous schemes, small disasters, unexpected adventures, and the kind of magic that only seems possible when you’re young enough to believe summer will never end.
But time is moving even when they aren’t paying attention.
