About the author
Rachel is a writer who claims to be that sassy, bi/pan, poly, pagan, wife, mom, friend, ally, author, and a mama bear to anyone who needs help. She grew up in rural, small-town Alabama. Her writing grew from an exploration of the culture and the hidden nuances of it. She began writing at 11 and hasn't stopped. Rachel’s escapism as a child grew her imagination and her spirit. Her imagination helped her survive. Having lived in North Carolina since 2007, she has helped raise three kids, worked in several fields, and had her adventures in life. She uses her own experiences and the settings familiar to her to create settings and tell tales; both fiction and non-fiction. She enjoys collaborative fiction the most. Rachel Adams writes multi-genre fiction and always adds supernatural, occult, gothic, and paranormal elements to her work. She loves relationships of all kinds and diversity among the cultures she comes up with. Normal is boring.

What if your mid-life crisis sends you to another world? What if you “find yourself” but also find a dragon?
People think of Rose Matthews as a woman who has everything. However, she sees herself as an underappreciated mother, business partner, and wife. Her husband was always on the go, and she did what was expected of her, forgetting who she was along the way.
Sick of the hum-drum, Rose looks beyond her humanity to the bloodline running through her. As a child of dragon mages, she is tempted to throw off traditional values and allow herself to be pulled to the other world, where supernatural beings rule and life is anything but boring.
Will she find what she's looking for there? If she does, what will that do to her future in this world?
