About the author

I love ice cream, dogs and cartoons, not necessarily in that order. I'm a kid at heart who loves writing in pajamas and lounging, watching anime, a good Marvel movie and FOOD. I live in a very hot sunny place surrounded by rocky mountains and palm trees. Oh and a grandmother to 5 amazing kids. I do dabble in film and have acareer of five decades which also may or may not reveal my age.

LOVE, LIES & A LYING CRYSTAL BALL

Willa Bumbles has built her career on brutal honesty. Her crystal ball doesn't sugarcoat. It doesn't comfort. People come to her desperate for devastating truth, and they always leave devastated.

Then everything changes.

Her predictions start showing good futures. Happy endings. Possibility instead of probability. Her customers are thrilled. They're coming back for more. They're leaving five-star reviews.

Willa is having a breakdown.

She's spent seventeen years telling people the hard truths nobody wants to hear. She's built her entire identity on it. And now nobody wants that version of her anymore.

But something still feels wrong. Something has shifted. And when the crystal ball starts making predictions about her own future, predictions involving someone she can't stand—Willa realizes she has to find out what's really happening.

Finding your place.
