Lantern author
cozy towns to hidden magic -- stories of love, identity, and discovery
Behind the byline
In my YA fantasy, I write stories of magic, secrets, and the quiet pull of the unknown. These characters explore worlds shaped by supernatural forces, where identity is discovered through mistakes and the unraveling of truths they were never meant to find.
Whether it be a cozy romance, a fantasy adventure, or something in between, there's a story waiting to be told. Needing to be told. So, I sit with these characters and pen their stories for readers to enjoy.

Contemporary Fantasy
Arabella has spent her life preparing to become a full witch. She’s studied the spells, practiced the rituals, and read everything she could get her hands on. Finally, on the evening of her eighteenth birthday, her first Witching Hour arrives and she’s ready to summon her familiar and take her place in her family’s magical legacy. But something goes wrong. As magic begins to fade, Arabella is determined to find the cause and fix it herself, proving she’s as good a witch as any of them. Unfortunately, her parents have decided that the best use of her time is babysitting Espen while his parents hunt down rare ingredients. Espen doesn’t want to be a witch hunter. He’d rather spend his time in his studio, painting and sketching. Arabella doesn’t see it as the opportunity their parents claim it is. And neither of them has any interest in making the arrangement work. But while Arabella is searching for answers, Espen is noticing everything else.

Book 1 of Small Town Miracles, a series of cozy romance novelettes.
Miracle returns home to Holilake for the holidays after losing everything: her job, her home, her relationship. It’s supposed to be temporary, a quiet place for her to breathe before figuring out what comes next.
But when she learns her childhood bookshop is closing, she’s faced with an unexpected choice: walk away because she knows nothing lasts forever…or stay and build something of her own.
Then there’s Liam.
A chief lighting technician from LA, he’s in town to film a holiday movie. Holilake was never meant to be permanent, but something about the festive town makes it feel less like just another job.
Miracle isn’t looking for love, not after everything she’s lost, but as Christmas draws nearer, Holilake begins to feel more like the start of something new. Something hers.
But Liam has a choice to make:
Return to his life in the city… Or stay and choose her.
