Strange worlds, impossible magic, and characters who refuse to stay where I put them.
Behind the byline
I write science fiction and fantasy about impossible worlds, strange magic, complicated friendships, and ordinary people dropped into very extraordinary circumstances. My stories wander through portals, distant galaxies, magical academies, and occasionally the afterlife. I have a particular fondness for found family, characters who ask too many questions, creatures that probably shouldn't be adopted, and worlds where the rules are never quite what they seem. When I'm not writing, I'm probably building another fictional universe instead of finishing the one I already started.

On Lantern
Dark academia fantasy
Guinevere has died forty-seven times. She just doesn't remember any of them.
When seventeen-year-old Gwen dies in a car accident, she isn't sure what she expects next — but it isn't an endless hallway, an impossible intake record, and an ancient Reaper declaring, "She's mine."
Welcome to Aether Academy, where the descendants of immortal Houses return between mortal lives to master the powers they were born to inherit. Most students arrive knowing exactly where they belong. Gwen arrives with forty-seven completed lives, no memory of any of them, and a soul nobody can explain.
Claimed by the House of Reapers, Gwen has to learn the strange art of endings while navigating ancient rivalries, impossible classes, and friendships with students from Houses that aren't supposed to trust one another.
But the deeper Gwen digs into her own past, the stranger her record becomes.
Someone knew she was coming.
Someone made sure she arrived.
And forty-seven lives don't disappear without leaving something behind.
