LanternGenre-blending where there is beauty in the darkness
Behind the byline
Driven by my heart, I am a multi-genre reader and writer. I can't just write one thing; I must write them all. Like an author version of a Pokémon trainer. But like my preference in Pokémon, Ghost types and all the doggos, I do tend to lean on the darker side of fiction. Don't be surprised to see a sprinkle of humor or romance in a horror or some shadows in a rom-com. I like to write how I see life, a blend of everything. When I'm not writing, I might be sternly telling my pups to stop being chaotic or telling my teen to clean his room. K-dramas and True Crime hold my attention the longest, and I do tend to jam to Linkin Park or Taylor Swift. I'm not religious, but I see the value in having a personal belief as long as it isn't used in politics, grifting, or harmful ways. We need more good in our lives, but should never back away from the darker parts of it either. And, sometimes, what we find dark might actually be good and what we find good may actually be the darkest thing we'll experience.
